Thanks for the suggestion. I ordered two big bottles to test out, each 40 oz. One that has an attached straw spout (brand: Hydrology), and the other that is a [tumbler with a straw option and closable opening (brand: Stanley] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M1NJIEG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1).

I'm going to give them both a test run over the next week or two and let you know how they do.

Question: is the Stanley lid "spill-proof" by your standards, @925Copper?
Note that the negative reviews on the Stanley one are because only the 40 oz one appears to come with the advertised handle. No real mention about negative performance otherwise.
