I bought the 6P used a couple months ago and got an iCarez.

If I remember correctly, it had an outward-facing thick plastic film with tabs on the top/bottom for very easy placement/installation.

icarez tempered glass was hands down the easiest screen protector i've ever installed, and in fact, the only install i would consider a success. zero bubbles and easy to get it lined up straight.

I've put this one on my phone twice in the past ~2 years. First one saved my screen by absorbing a freak drop on a rock that hit the front of the screen.

Lines up perfect for me and seems to have better finger print proofing than the actual screen ever did.

There are lots of TGSP on Amazon for the 6P, and they're all priced quite low too. I got the iVoler brand, but the PLESON brand was basically the same thing at the time I bought it. A few things I recommend:

1. CD Car Mount. They seem to hold the phone better than air vent mounts

I used it twice when I had my 6P. Worked great, got scratched after a while, cheap enough to just buy another and replace.

This one here. the case overlaps a very tiny bit on the corners but it isn't causing any issues. Got the case glass and phone during the christmas time sale and haven't had any issues with the glass coming up or anything

This is the one I'm using, and I've loved it so far. It fills out the entire face of the phone with small cutouts where they need to be. I don't really know how to describe it, but the edges of the glass are rounded and not as sharp as I've seen on other phones, you won't cut yourself dragging your fingers across the cutouts. And I haven't had to put it to the test, but it's apparently got a lifetime warranty, which is cool.

I do i have This case on my 6P combined with the holster from this case becuase i like holsters. I also have this screen protector on the screen installed easily and flawlessly.

Just about any TGSP will work. I have both cases and the one I bought fits both.

I just got the Surface case and love it. It works well with this screen protector and is basically edge to edge with no gap.

Never used a tempered glass screen protector before and I'm scared their might be issues.

I'm currently using a Supcase Unicorn Beetle Premium hybrid case with a iCarez tempered glass screen protector. Great combination and it's the first case that I've left my phone in for more than a week without feeling like taking it out. Offers great drop protection as well.

I don't have a 6p (considering selling Note 4 and upgrading right now, since no concrete news of Nexus 7 is available yet), but I bought the tempered glass from iCarez for friend's Moto G3 and I thought there was nothing wrong with it. So I would probably buy from them again for a different phone.
