I'm paranoid about causing any damage to my my pure, which I've already scuffed on the edge before my case came in.
I first went with a TPU case from Amazon for 8 dollars. I Hated the feel of that that case, do not recommend.

I like the way this cases material feels, but it does make the phone feel noticeably larger. I can still use it one handed, and I feel like I don't have very much larger than average hands. I'm happy with the space and durability it provides though.

I've been using the Incipio Protective since getting my Pure in Oct last year. I am pleased with it; it does however add a great deal of bulk to the phone, but I work outdoors a good bit and this has taken quite a few falls without issue. It is not water proof, but its heavily rubberized and with a nice glass screen protector it might work out fine.
