Injustice: Gods Among Year One Complete Collection from Amazon is $16.99 for all of the comic books from Year 1 of the Injustice series. It's well worth it in my opinion and if you like it other collections are available for similar price.

Amazon often has wrong page numbers, if you're talking about this Year One Complete Collection, it is the full year one. #1-12 + #1 Annual. #1-36 of the digital chapters are the #1-12 issues. 1 issue = 3 digital chapters.

You're looking for the Injustice: Gods Among Us series. It started off as a game, which also had companion comics with it. They are just finishing Year 5 of the story, but you can get collected versions like this: https://www.amazon.com/Injustice-Gods-Among-Complete-Collection/dp/1401262791

It was my very first thought when I saw this scene. The story of the books is really great though, I highly recommend.
EDIT: You can read the comics without having any knowledge of the game at all and not have any confusion.
