Yeah, I was tuning with a student the other day and my guitar tuned fine (Guild Jumbo acoustic) and for some reason his Fender acoustics's low e string would not get picked up on the tuner. My low e was fine, no problem. I had to end up tuning his off the 12th fret harmonic.

I also have one of of these, the Intellitouch PT2 Tuner. It has the same problem when the battery is going low. Otherwise I like the tuner a lot, it is really easy to clip on to one instrument, and move it to another without the hassle of having to plug and unplug.
