I love where it holds the pencil. Its not a sleeve, but it keeps the pencil in place, but also handy when you need it. the little hole in at the corner holds the pencil lid when its plugged into the iPad to charge.

It's nothing fancy, but functional as hell.

I like this one because it has a place to put your Apple Pencil. I used it for quite some time until I put this on my Apple Pencil so it was easier to write with (and much harder to store/carry.)

So a couple things the poetic cases are pretty awesome and so cheap that I thought they were too cheap and held of buying them for a bit.

The default keyboard IMO is much better than people give it credit for, I have no issues typing on it or using it. Also since they haven’t changed it you can find it on sale for a lot less than msrp. Apple Pencil comes with the charging adapter so you don’t have to plug it into the iPad, and it doesn’t need to be charged all the time. Also since it is the same pencil you can find some good deals on it as well still a bit much.
Personally in the same situation I found a used iPad Pro 10.5 64gb with pencil and keyboard for 450 and have no regrets (maybe 64gb)
