I'm not at the moment, but if I do later on, then I think I'll try this one by IQ Shield. That's for the 44mm and this is for the 40mm. It's a 6-pack, has a Lifetime Replacement Warranty, and has high ratings.
I have these IQShield screen protectors for my 40mm (they also have them in 44mm); it was a little fiddly to put on and at first I thought the edges weren't going to stay down but after a couple hours it dried and secured nicely. Looks great, can barely tell it's there, and is smooth to swipe on for navigating. (I also used these for about a year with my old Fitbit Versa and they were a nice inexpensive option & can stay on a couple months without peeling up.)
I got theIQ Shieldscreen protector after I got a small scratch on my screen. It fits really well and you can't really even tell it's there, though it does feel different than the glass screen. As a bonus, I can't seem to see the scratch anymore, I'm guessing the adhesive or film sort of fill it in.

The screen protector can be a pain to apply, you have to be patient with the edges and don't get discouraged. I had a few air bubbles, but they seemed to disappear over a 3-4 days. I too have zero interest in a bezel cover.

It's not a glass protector, but it's a semi hard plastic that has a wet application. The adhesive dries as the water/soap spray dries, and it's almost invisible on the watch. Given the application process you're able to re-center it for up to a few minutes before the glue dries so it's perfectly centered every time. I highly recommend it!

P.S. I only used tempered glass protectors prior, and I'm very happy with this protector.
I say absolutely. The IQ shield are by far the best. Here is the link. I am using them now. Not sure how they will work with the case but I never had any issues on other devices.

I found this, but no reviews of it yet. I'm wanting to get a full body armor/case for it in addition to a screen protector and haven't found the full body one yet.
