So you need an ice cream maker, but that's it for special tools.

3 scoops of Isopure 0 carb protein powder (this is how you pick your flavor)

1 cup equivalent of sweetener (I like EzSweets liquid splenda, but you can use whichever sweetener you like)

1/8 cup of Food Grade Glycerine This is your softening agent.

1 pint of Heavy Cream (the lower carbs the better, but don't worry if you can't find one that lists 0, as that is a rounding thing)

1 cup of Califa Farms Unsweetened Almond Milk I have tried others, but this one gives the best texture. I'm not sure why this is the case. I personally like the toasted coconut one because although you can't taste the coconut, the resulting ice cream it has a creamier texture than the normal one.

That's it!!

Put that stuff into a blender and blend it GENTLY. Add the almond milk, the protein powder, the sweetener and the glycerine first, blend it up (will be crazy thick) and then add the heavy cream and GENTLY blend that smooth.

If you put it on high and just let your blender run, it will spin the cream into butter forcing you to put everything onto the stove to gently heat it and re-emulsify it. It's a pain so just don't overblend it.

Once that is done, you just pour that into your ice cream maker and let that work it's magic. The ice cream will be soft and flavorful and creamy and amazing.

It isn't low calories, and it actually is super nutritious from the IsoPure protein powder so it is usable as meal replacement Ice Cream (yea that's apparently a thing...)

If you use the Strawberry Cream IsoPure then it comes out kind of like the ice cream version of Strawberry Fluff. It is an amazing dessert.

After having the same issue, and asking around, I ended up getting Isopure ZeroCarb protein powder and moving it with unsweetened almond milk. I do 16oz of almond milk and 2 scoops of powder. Zero net carbs and 50g of protein with 1g of fat. You can put a tbsp of MCT oil in it you want to add some fat.

The best way is fish... High protein, no carbs. But I can only eat so much fish.

The protein powder I use is http://www.amazon.com/Natures-Best-Isopure-Strawberries-3-Pounds/dp/B000E8ZJH2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1420551597&sr=8-1&keywords=isopure+strawberry which is 0 carbs.

High sources of protein I keep around are cottage cheese, hard boiled eggs, & peanut butter.

It is KINDA like that. I make it a little thicker by using less water. I get it from Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000E8ZJH2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
