The mount is just a regular mount that is meant to be hung off of houses. I mounted that at the bottom of my bed, and then toward the top I actually used a door handle (lol), intentionally not big enough to go around the pole, I drilled it around the pole so it kind of bent around it, securing it.
For the pole, it is just a black steel pole, 3/4", 5 foot tall. I got all of those at my hardware store.
It sits just fine, I've had at 100 mph and it sure as hell wasn't going anywhere.
I can't get to my truck right now, the transmission blew just yesterday unfortunately, but I drew this picture to kind of show how it looked.
