• Less is More: Minimalism in Fashion - I've actually already read this for a paper I was working on, but both the photographs and text is excellent, and my coffee table needed some sprucing up.
  
  
• Softcover of Japanese Fashion Designers: The Work and Influence of Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto and Rei Kawakubo - read this as well, but thought I would give it a reread before proposing it for the FFA book club.
  
  
• The Japanese Revolution in Paris Fashion - this is my alternate to the above. It's actually adapted from a PhD thesis but was a great read. It provides an excellent overview of the machinations of Fashion Week as well as how Japanese designers caused such an upset in the early 1980s and the lasting impacts of their work on Western designers. If you've any interest at all in fashion history I thoroughly recommend it.

Japanese Fashion Designers was an interesting read.
