Well the most important thing in an LED headlight bulb is the placement and size of the individual diodes. They have to be as close as possible to where the original halogen filament was, because reflector headlights are designed to reflect the light from that exact location. See this image for example.

If you ever see bulbs for sale that have round or over size diode chips on them, don't buy!! They'll blind everyone by giving you spotlights that shine in all directions lol. (most bulbs have this problem)

I use modifiedlife to find the correct bulb type for my vehicle. For a Lancer, it's 9006 low beam and 9005 high beam I believe.

Then I head over to Headlight Revolution to find bulbs. I don't necessarily buy from there, but it's useful to see the designs of the latest bulbs that work well. Those guys test every bulb and approve them on their site, and have customer support if you do end up ordering from them. I recommend Supernova V.4 for your high beams, you won't be disappointed! (Supernova V.4 high beam bulbs on my A4 Quattro)

Otherwise you can study the location of the diodes and the bulb, and general design of the bulb, and find it on Amazon for quite a lot cheaper. I recommend these for your low beams. someone with a lancer reviewed them and claimed they work well. Although they didn't post an output photo, if you look at some of the other reflector photos I think you'll find that these work well.

Let me know if you have more questions, I'll happily help. The info I've shared is just what I've learned by trial and error, testing different bulbs in different housings over the past 3 years. We installed some bulbs in an F-250 and they're not blinding anyone, and its a damn lifted truck.

Haha, yeah I didn't take that photo. My Bonnie has fabric seats. I believe it is the SE, but I'd honestly have to consult my owner's manual to verify that information. Regarding the lights, I bought these turn signals (only fit in the front, according to Amazon), these for the rear turn signals, and these to help with nighttime visibility (and they are AMAZING!). Everything was very plug and play, and it made me realize that working on my baby may not necessarily be as complicated as I once thought. The only issue I had with the installation of those parts is the hyper flashing of my turn signals, but that seems easy to correct and I've already ordered the resistors recommended by Amazon.

Edit: I'll probably end up ordering more for my brights and tail lights once I get some more money to play around with. I've spent too much on those listed above, a seat cover set, floor mats, a headlight restoration kit, and an impact drill. My wife is about ready to kill me! :P
