FYI you can buy caffeine pills .

Anytime I comment this there's always somebody that wigs out, so let me get this out the way. It's the same caffeine that's in sodas or coffee, just in pill form. Literally the same thing.

Most bottles , one pill will be around the same caffeine is in one cup of coffee.

Here's an example . 100mg of caffeine per pill, there's 95 in a cup of coffee (as Google says).

I work 3rd shift, I try and avoid caffeine all together, but use these on days I need the help to stay awake.

Skip the sugary drinks for caffeine

If it's just the caffeine you need, buy caffeine pills.

Personally, I drink caffeine drink mixes (kroger/smith's are my favorite, but there's crystal lite, mio, walmart, etc.) Gets me drinking more water and still get caffeine when I want need it.

Duuude, you have no idea how shitty you feel right now. You're used to it. I'm glad you're trying to quit. These caffeine pills are a lot cheaper and less acidic than either coffee or mountain dew (and anyway, hardly anyone drinks coffee black... you know you put sugar and fat in that shit). Keep at it, it's so worth the difference!

As someone who gets migraines, caffeine is essential to helping prevent them. I don't drink coffee on a regular basis, so this isn't headaches from caffeine withdrawal.

When I go on retreat, I carry:

Anacin or the generic. I rarely ever need it, but I do carry it. It has caffeine in it.

If you are really concerned, get some Jet Alert. Break pills in half and use mindfully, not habitually.

Being with sleepiness on retreat is a good learning experience, so don't take them to deny tiredness.

We are often toxically busy and part of retreat, perhaps the first 3-5 days, can be just letting the body recover from the constant non-stop we regularly expect from it.

Best to you on your retreat. They are the best gift you can give yourself, and by extension, others.

The folks over at /r/motocamping might be of help.

I've never been much for cooking on the road, but I've got to have my morning caffeine somehow; I take either the Jetboil French Press or a bottle of store-brand No-Doz. (usually both, tbh).

Other than that, camping on the bike isn't a bit different than camping from a car. Oh, except setting camp in the rain sucks more, so a "shamwow" towel is nice to have, too.
