It's such a pain that my favorite mangas are all still publishing. I could buy the next volume of Prison School, but I will wait until the next four or so are released so I can binge them. It's not like I haven't bought enough stuff that I still need to finish...
I don't know what country you're in, but Amazon sells the English manga. I hope that works for you.
Again, which ones? Just a few series I already read, Shokugeki, Kaguya Sama, and The Promised Neverland are nowhere near those prices.

Legally, buy the volumes. Personally I read them from the scanlator (jaiminisbox). Kaguya manga is far from finished as there are plenty of issues unexplored.
