I like my Leek. It’s a quality knife with a smooth action that holds an edge well.

The leek is also a great knife.

The delica and endura aren't necessarily combo edge, plain edge versions are very popular. Try the Kershaw Leek or other kershaw offerings, all are very sleek.

If he had a face piercing, you should have clawed at it... tear that out and he'll limp away.

Seriously though, I never go out without my knife hooked on my pocket... you'd be surprised how quick that can make someone think twice about taking a swing at you.

I carry a Kershaw Leek. Its very solid and has held up perfectly over the years I've used it.

Amazon Kindle: I love this more than I care to admit. It got me reading again in a big way. This goes pretty much everywhere that I do.

Merkur Futur: Changed shaving from something I hate to something I look forward to. Feels nice and solid and is aesthetically pleasing to me.

Ken Onion Leek: A great little pocket knife that I carry every day.

Audio Technica AD900s: I don't consider myself an audiophile, but I love listening to music. And, my word, these sound GOOD. I don't know if I'll ever need another pair of headphones.

Wow, thanks so much! I ended up buying this which is what I think the playboy one is knocking off.

Well, the leek's a classic.

That's a different knife, if you want to compare apples to apples, this is what you want: http://www.amazon.com/Kershaw-1660CKT-Onion-Folding-SpeedSafe/dp/B0009VC9YK

You got my curious now. Suggestions? I have a kershaw, and a sog trident mini. I carry the sog on a daily basis and keep a kershaw in by backpack. The sog is mainly for cutting boxes open and other dumb stuff, I know its not spectacular.

Any suggestions for a knife 3-3.5 inches long, assisted opening, with better quality? Something I can carry on a daily basis?

I think the leek is a much sexier knife in the kershaw line. No plastic in it's construction and an assisted opener. The amazon pic doesn't really do it justice though.

The chill is a damn nice knife that doesn't cost a lot, but sexiest? Not quite.

Another knife to consider is the Kershaw Leek. It's easily one of my favorite knives. It's an assisted open, meaning that when you flip the butt of the blade that protrudes at the top of the knife it flies open.

Blade length: 3"
Closed length: 4"
Steel: Sandvik 13C26 stainless-steel with Tungsten DLC coating
Handle: 410 stainless-steel with Tungsten DLC coating

I'd go all black or silver. Tactile Turn pen, Prometheus light and Kershaw silver or black. That's what I'd get in your situation. I own all them in some form or another and they are all great.

I'd recommend either the Spyderco Delica or the Kershaw Leek.

Both are great practical knives that don't take too much space in the pocket, have adequate steels for everyday use and I'm sure will serve you well.

Kershaw is nice.

looks like a kershaw leek ?

This one it is a factory second but I honestly can not find anything wrong with it... maybe the grind or something? I fixed that on a strop. Really good condition.
