And also outlet covers. A family member gave me a good piece of advice, though: you can't control what other peoples houses are like, so it's better to teach your child what they can and can't get into, that way you don't have to worry about peoples houses being babyproofed when you go for a visit.
That being said, babies are FAST (just wait 'til he's walking!) You buy whatever you need to in order to keep your sanity! And depending on what your cabinet knobs look like, you may be able to just use rubber bands for the time being.
