People like to explore and get creative with all kinds of things. I like to use a half a dryer sheet in each drawer in my linen closet and in bedrooms for the fragrance, even putting them into shoes to help with odor. But, I no use the dryer sheets in the dryer! I use a rubber hedgehog dryer balls:

I've heard that a person can also use aluminum foil ball in the dryer to avoid static.

Brillo pads as not worth the money wasted on them. They just put a soap onto the pads and sell it that way? I use a crumpled ball of aluminum foil in place of a Brillo pad to scrub my cast iron. I also recycle those elastic bags that lemons and limes come in, it's a flexible plastic scrubber type material, and we tie them in a knot to use as a scrubby. That works.

Make your own homemade stuff, for everything you can buy in the store there is a homemade substitute. I personally will explore ideas to save money.

Just buy yourself a set of dryer balls and you can get away with not using any chemical fabric softener.

Dryer balls plus add a half cup of white vinegar to the washer with your detergent. The vinegar reduces static.

Busy day at work, drove the forklift so much that when I got back in my car to drive home I temporarily forgot that regular cars don't have a 0 degree turning radius or steer from the back.

Other than that, just gonna eat leftover mac n cheese for dinner, watch some Zisteau let's plays, and do some laundry with my new dryer buddy.

Great idea for a contest! I just went to my transfernorientation today and flooded my wishlist with the new category of "crap I actually need :/"

I've found a lot of cool stuff. I hope you don't mind me posting more than one- it's not like, to make sure I win the contest, but because I want to share all the nifty things I've found :P

I love the design of this key holder

Robot flash drive! I love robots!

Wood USB Drive!

OMG this pizza cutter!

and this one too!

Mondrian dry erase board!

You need these adorable hedgehog dryer balls

Also, if you aren't aware of dry erase and/or chalkboard adhesive vinyl, you now are. Quick, cheap, non-wall-damaging noteboard. Awesomeness.

We have these little hard rubber hedgehogs that we put in the dryer to 'soften' clothes. Wash then tumble until desired effect.

Just toss in some hedgehogs. Or for a truly plant-based option, try cacti :)

Great! Hope it worked out well for you! My personal favorite sheets right now are microfiber because they seems to be less apt to pilling or getting rough after washing. If you do find you have an issue with your bedding not drying evenly I would recommend some cheap dryer balls to help the process ((Look! These are super adorable and affordable!)

Like /u/treptowgrutt mentioned - you could put your pillows in the dryer every so often (I would think on a low setting) to freshen them up if desired.

Because I love soft towels, but fabric softener makes them not absorbent. :( They're also shaped like hedgehogs!

Thank you!

This is my number one go to dinner idea.

4-6 raw chicken breasts, new potatoes, green beans (fresh or canned-really any green veggie would work. Broccoli is good, too). Arrange in 9x13 dish. Sprinkle with a packet of Italian dressing mix and then top with a melted stick of butter. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

You can use literally any kind of seasoning, doesn't have to be the Italian dressing mix. I've done ranch, the Italian dressing, cajun and greek. All turned out amazing.

Butt Off Dead Thanks for the contest. =]

I seperate the prefolds and inserts and hang dry the covers to preserve the PUL. The prefolds and inserts go in on high heat times dry 80min. I find if i use the sensor dry setting the diapers are not fully dry especially anything with bamboo as it's more absorbent.

I have two dryer balls i use and sometimes i add a lavender sachet for added scent without chemicals or residue.
