Kool 'n' Sooth forehead strips.

I get fairly regular migraines and along with pain killers and a nap, these are amazing. Obviously, they don't get rid of the pain but holy hell do they take the edge off.

Like, if you're out and you get a migraine, they take the edge off so you can drive home. If you need to sleep to get rid of it, they take the edge off so you can get to sleep. They're amazing.

I keep recommending them to people and they just laugh cos it looks like a sanitary pad stuck to your head but those people are seriously missing out.

It depends. The only method that seems to work for me is taking aspirin on the onset (but I usually end up being sick so it isn't always effective), using a cold washcloth or [one of these] (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kool-Soothe-Migraine-Cooling-Strips/dp/B000KU954M) and going to sleep. I've never had a repeat attack afterwards but I try to keep drinking water and avoiding bright light once it has passed.

Mine seem to be triggered from lack of caffeine and being dehydrated (I had one yesterday despite having drank a 500ml bottle of Coke and about 2 liters of water at work)

They are stick on cool pads, basically a jelly substance. They stay cool for about 8 hours.

I like them because they stay put so I can stay still. I also tend to get a migrane hangover, and the cooling really helps me not relapse into another migrane.

Once my migrane has gone, I can move around but it stays on. I've even kept them on overnight on multiple occasions.
