That's the kit I bought (sorry for formatting, I am lazy). Its a lot about getting the consistency right and using enough pressure when you apply. On my pits the crease was uncomfortable, like pulling off a bandaid, but the pain doesn't last. The anticipation of it is worse.
I haven't done my bikini line yet, but I have gotten it done several times at salons and bought a hard wax kit so that I don't have to pay a stranger to look at my vagina anymore. Waxing is never like...pleasurable, and there are areas that hurt worse than others. I'd say bikini line hurts a little more than armpit. The worst is the top part of your public hair, for some reason that area is super sensitive. I plan on doing that myself next weekend or one week night if I am feeling crazy. I breakout horribly when I shave so waxing has been the only thing I can do to control the bikini area. And I live in Florida so I basically live in my swimsuit over the summer and not doing anything isn't an option for me. I'm hoping this kit saves me a shit ton of money lol But I wouldn't try out the wax with a kit without having it done at a salon. Then you can see how your skin reacts to wax, what areas are more painful for you, and if you prefer the wax over shaving. I have gone to European Wax Center and Waxing the City, two big chain names, and they have always done a good job (and your first time is discounted). It might be easy to have it done there and then just use your at home kit to touch up as the hair grows back.
