I'm not sure exactly what your price is, but the lenovo yoga book lets you write with paper and a special pen on the keyboard and then saves those files as pdfs, here's an amazon link if you are interested. It's pretty underpowered, but I recon it would work well enough as a subsitute for a tablet.

So surface pro 3 with an i3 64gb of storage and 4gb ram 479
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Tablet (12-Inch, 64 GB, Intel Core i3, Windows 10) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B012DTEIVM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_9snszbGVM690P

Or the Lenovo yoga book Android or windows version is a 10.1 inch touch screen an Intel atom x5-8550 64gb onboard storage and 4gb ram these specs seem low but for what you specify they will be more than enough and if you get the Android version it will be even better the keyboard is interesting though it uses a Wacom drawing pad as the keyboard that vibrates when you touch the keys note taking is interesting aswell you when you tap a button on the keyboard it disappears showing a large writing area that allows you to take digital notes and you can put a notebook over it and write with a pen to have a digital and physical copy
Im personally getting the Android version because it was developed for it and it has more features and runs better the Android version is 300 and the windows is 400 I recommend the Android one however here is the links

If you are looking for a slim premium device with good note taking features go for the Lenovo
Or if you are looking for a slightly heavier premium device with a physical keyboard for long typing sessions go for the pro 3

You can buy a Lenovo tablet pc, that have a drawing pad/touch keyboard for less than 500$.

The pen can be used on the display too, not the same precision... Not even close, but still.

They've already been posted above, but I'm running 19 on two separate laptops. One is a 12 year old dell business laptop that I have Linux on because windows was too slow. The other is running on a mobile processor with 4GB RAM.

This is the newer laptop I'm running 19 on. I just haven't gotten 20 yet, but it should run just as good.

That said... the game does build up quite a memory stack, even on computers with lots of RAM and fast processors. Just think about how many statistics and box scores it's coming up with every time you simulate a single day. I have a general rule of thumb that if I have the game running for more than 3 hours, I just save and close the program out. Then I can choose to either be productive or just open it back up.

The Lenovo YogaBook is cool. It's around $350-$400 now and runs full Windows 10, but prolly kinda slow (I have the Android version). It comes with a pen. Setup is kinda weird though. The pen works best with the base for pressure sensitivity and stuff, but if you turn on AnyPen, it works on the screen too. It's just kinda janky. Gotta get used to it.

Anyways, here's the link if you're interested:

They are pretty expensive though, unless you want an Android tablet which means no Krita. This kind of tablet = laptop (usually of high quality) + Wacom tablet. I see prices startsat $700. Better research Medibang and check if you'd like Android tablet (they can be pretty cheap I think, in comparison) with either no-pressure or pressure sensitive pen.

Looking for a tablet like that I've found Lenovo Yoga Book though: with Windows (so Krita available), pressure-sensitive stylus and all: https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Yoga-Book-Processor-ZA150000US/dp/B01M6W1LET/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1550444538&sr=8-3&keywords=lenovo+yoga+book+windows Maybe that would be ok?

https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Yoga-Book-Processor-ZA150000US/dp/B01M6W1LET Something like that might actually work for you and is well below your budget. It is possible to get a windows 10 or Android version.
