I have two of these (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KM18AP4), one at work, one at home. I park the phone there when it's not in my hand. I also have a 10,000mAh power brick that I keep in my backpack or gym bag. Yeah, the battery life could be better, but it's pretty easy to work around.
