I deal with phone heating issues using ice packs. I carry around an insulated lunch bag with two ice packs and a small cloth when I go raiding.

Depending on what your phone specifications are, careful using this method. I have a Sony Xperia Z3+ with an IP68 rating. So far, my phone hasn't died yet from doing this.
