Should you? If you had the money I’d say it’s worth a try.
I keep a bottle around and it works for me to clean my skin that attracts fungus. My symptoms are mild compared to yours. I keep a bottle with a push pump near my shower. I only wash the areas that need it - everything else gets normal soap.
After a shower I dry off completely head to toe, removing every drop of water so it isn’t used as a breading ground.
I assume you know where the infection is gaining ground on your skin, but if you don’t you can buy a specialized black light (not cheap, difficult to get the right one) flashlight and inspect your skin to see where it’s growing. Amazon
I got generic testing too through Invitae - the gene panel didn’t highlight any genes that cause my PI. Eventually genetic testing will come around and start helping us, but they need more research !

If you want to get a dedicated UV light then this is the best thing that I can find for under $40.
