Our Frenchie is blind. He took about a week to adjust to his new reality. Don't move furniture, use vanilla scent to mark water bowl and his usual access to the outdoors.

I can't recommend this book enough. Our veterinarian Ophthalmologist gave us a copy, it's been a sanity saver.

All I can say, from our experience, is that dogs are remarkably adaptive, best part is that they just accept it. No feeling sorry for their plight.
