I'm using a Logitech K810 / K811. It isn't cheap but you can switch between three different paired devices with one button press, it has a backlight, it's great to type on and I've charged it two months ago and I use it almost every day. Ask me more about it you want.

10/10 would write again.

I use the Logitech K810. I've had it for several years, and it works great. Battery lasts for weeks. My bf uses the Logitech K380 and has had similar success.

Edit: Added links.

The key difference is the 380 uses 2 AAA batteries, whereas the 810 has an internal, rechargeable battery that uses a standard micro USB.

The Pokemon: Typing Adventure keyboard works pretty great! And you can pick it up for pretty cheap nowadays.

Going a bit bigger and pricier, I can at least confirm the Logitech K810 works as well.

Setting the features aside I surprisingly find both of them to feel pretty similar when it comes to typing.

I personally use Logitech K810 Wireless Bluetooth Illuminated Multi-Device Keyboard for PC, Tablets and Smartphones, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0099SMFVQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_SskDCbY81R924 when needed.

Probably wouldn't use it full time, but the keys have a decent response to them and it's lasted me years.

u/caffpowered · 3 pointsr/battlestations

Reddit liked my last battlestation, so I decided to post my new, more portable solution.

My new battlestation was made under slightly more constraints. Everything I own fits into a single suitcase, as I moved to a New York City for work. When I got here, I found that my two laptops made a very unergonomic and uncomfortable workstation. TO remedy that problem, I sourced a few parts of Amazon.

I bought a stand for my tablet, two laptop stands meant for DJs, a wireless mouse and keyboard and a kneeling chair. Everything breaks down and fits into my suitcases except for the chair, which I would probably leave behind if I am forced to move again.

The tablet is used as a TV. I use it to watch documentaries, shows streamed from youtube, hulu, netflix or thepiratebay. The internal speakers on the tablet are a bit quiet, so I have them streaming to a Logitech UE Boom Mini. I've owned the two laptops since starting university - a Lenovo x200, and a x201 I bought a few years later to replace the x200 when it stopped detecting a battery. They're both pretty old now, but the x201 still manages to play league of legends (barely). The x200 (right) is hooked up to a set of Steelseries Siberia v3 headphones that I use for skype, or music / shows when my roommates are watching something else on the big TV, or are having loud sex. A small and surprisingly weak fan is constantly plugged in and does do a bit to keep me cool. I'll have to revisit the cooling solution when summer hits again.

I've considered upgrading the laptops, but then I figured I shouldn't be spending a lot of time inside gaming anyways. Instead, I bought a new snowboard for the upcoming season.

I have those two from Logitech, both have terrific build quality and come with the most amazing aftersale service :

Logitech Ultrathin Touch Mouse T630

Terrific battery life, and it supports windows 8 gestures and fits with the surface color scheme.

Logitech Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard K810.
You can switch seamlessly between your surface and another computer or smartphones, for me, it's a godsend to be able to reply to text from a real keyboard, plus the backlighting is a must for working in the dark.

I snagged this keyboard for $60. It works perfectly for multiple devices.

I am using these two: Logitech MX Anywhere 2 Wireless Mobile Mouse / Logitech Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard K810. Haven't used more than 15 minutes with Sony TV, but I don't think there will be any issues.

u/gobblegourd · 2 pointsr/keyboards

I would highly recommend a new Logitech keyboard. The Logitech K750 is fantastic (I used it for over a year before upgrading to a mechanical keyboard). It's solar powered; you literally never have to worry about charging it. There are no downsides to this. It really works well, even in my shaded room. The layout is great and includes a function key with plenty of media controls.

You might also be interested in the Logitech K810. It's tenkeyless, backlit, and uses bluetooth so you can connect it to just about any device including your phone or tablet. I haven't used it personally but considered buying it at one point. It looks pretty sleek and lets you easily switch between devices if keyboard shortcuts.

u/snakebite75 · 2 pointsr/talesfromtechsupport

My keyboard works just fine with my PC, my iPad, and my iPhone, I can switch between them just by pressing the F1-F3 keys. But I'll admit there have been a few times I've started typing only to realize I'm on the wrong device, but that's easy to fix.

Here's the keyboard, but I paid much less than what they are going for now..

u/EZTguy · 2 pointsr/keyboards

Unless you intend to do a lot of typing on this machine, a keyboard similar to what you've found is fine. However, I would suggest getting one with at least a battery option because you don't want to have to turn on the lights to make your keyboard work when the charge runs low.

I would suggest the Logitech K810. I have the K811 which is for Macs but still seems to work just fine for PCs. It's not solar-powered, but it doesn't use batteries and you can charge it with a micro-USB. It also has 3 device buttons on it so it can seamlessly swap from your TV to your laptop and/or tablet with a single button press.

I put my keyboard on an end-table plugged in for charging when I'm not using it, but the battery seems to last weeks on a single charge anyway.

My keyboard is like this http://images.amazon.com/images/G/01/electronics/detail-page/B0099SMFVQ_main_lg.jpg

My mouse is like this http://www.jbhifi.com.au/images/logitech-m235-wireless-mouse-blue-sku-91050-large.gif

The mouse I guess I could stay with, its just an ordinary mouse for normal use. Not much for gaming. The keyboard I would get a new one, I don't even know why I got it in the firstplace.

This website sells gaming computers http://www.ibuypower.com/home.aspx It lets you customize it but I don't know if you build it or not. If this website is a solution, could you perhaps customize it to fit my budget? Im hopeless when trying to do this

u/savethekennies · 1 pointr/Surface

I bought the Logitech K810 for my surface and really liked it.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0099SMFVQ?vs=1

I'm not sure why it's gone up $25 2 years after I bought it though, might be able to find it cheaper somewhere else.

u/whiskeysixkilo · 1 pointr/keyboards

I use a Logitech K810 with my PC at home

And I have a K811 at my desk at work

It has Bluetooth and also has buttons to switch devices on the fly so you can go back and forth between your computer and your phone

u/Tweekinator · 1 pointr/ffxiv

If cost isn't a issue I would get the Logitech k810. It is super nice and easy to use. The light up keyboard is nice since I play in a dark room all the time. Link for the lazy http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Bluetooth-Illuminated-Keyboard-Smartphones/dp/B0099SMFVQ. I see that it is $100 right now and I only paid $60 when I got it.

This one works with an Android tablet or smartphone with operating system 3.0 or later

I don't have a number of pad on [my main keyboard (the Logitech K810)](Logitech https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0099SMFVQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_dACjybW97VRV4), and it's been fantastic about 99% of the time. I've onlly ever wished for numpad on rare occasions, like when playing Space Engineers, wherein the camera controls are mapped to the numpad.

u/Andent · 1 pointr/ffxiv

For the majority of SCOB progression I used a Logiteck K810.

It's pricey at the moment but I managed to snag it during a 50% off sale. It's pretty small and fairly feature-limited. However, what it can do, it does nicely.

u/boobers3 · 0 pointsr/elderscrollsonline

Nostromo 52te

Razer Naga

With that combo, I don't actually need to use my keyboard in a game. I use this as my keyboard since I don't need a gaming keyboard

i use the logitech easy switch bt keyboard (the pc one with the ctrl key in the right spot) and it works pretty well.

I was referring to the Blue in particular. Being in the server is a detriment to the price, especially when it's a consumer-grade drive. Having been used in a server is all the more reason to have CDI screenshots to show the health of the drive as well as the Power On Count & Hours.

The average price of a WD RE4 500GB drive is $40 on eBay with many being sold for much less, but those were auctions.

You should say how much of the warranty is left on the drives.

The keyboard is $75 brand new on Amazon.
