Two RAM sticks is still better than a single for that sweet sweet dual channel performance boost.... which isn't really that noticeable in day to day tasks or gaming.

Are you using a 1080p\60Hz monitor? I think budget may be better spent dropping the GTX 1080 and getting a GTX 1060 3GB (not overpriced) and adding an SSD. The SSD will help greatly with day to day tasks.
That linked set looks fine, although I would also look into Logitech's offerings in that price range. They're usually pretty good.

If you're an audiophile you wouldn't get a soundcard, but rather an external DAC/Amp setup. Since you're not an audiophile and you're not buying anything remotely close to audiophile outputs ($200-300 speakers/headphones on the low end) then there is no reason to get either a soundcard or a DAC/Amp setup.
Also, as a college student I'd recommend getting a solid set of headphones over a set of speakers. This allows you to block out your annoying roommates and prevent you from annoying your roommates with loud music or games. That, and they're portable so you can bring them when you go study in the library.^^^^^^which ^^^^^^you ^^^^^^should ^^^^^^be ^^^^^^doing ^^^^^^a ^^^^^^lot, ^^^^^^ya ^^^^^^slacker.
I also got an LP120 as my starter record player. I have a large digital collection, records for me are a fun way to relax with a drink and listen to my favorites. I decided to go with inexpensive powered speakers in the $50 range for now so I could buy a bunch of vinyl to get started. They do the job for now, I'll upgrade down the road and likely get a preamp at that time. By then I'll have some experience and familiarity to know what I want for both. Because you are so new to vinyl, you may want to do something similar. I would NOT do soundbar for my turntable. Use your iPod with a soundbar for convenience with your Blu Ray and hdtv, but keep the turntable and speakers separate. Here's the cheapo speakers I use with my LP 120.

It's 45 bucks, stereo speaker and a sub, you can plug an auxiliary cord in to play music or a Chromecast audio and boom. This was just a quick Amazon search and I'm sure there's better options for powered speakers as these really are made for a computer but just showing g you that you really can get a cheap setup and it won't destroy your bulb life when you just want to listen
To answer your question no there is no way to get just audio out of the projector, best bet is to just throw something on the screen to enjoy, but honestly just splurge for a cheap powered stereo setup.

I have the Z323s for my PC. They were just under $40 when I bought them about 3 months ago.
A friend of mine uses these, and they sound pretty good for the cost. Obviously not studio monitors or anything, but Logitech seems to do a good job of having pretty well balanced and not-too-tinny sounding speakers in this price range. There are a few other 2.1's from Logitech at varying price points, these are just the only ones I've heard personally. Obviously there are tons of non-Logitech 2.1's, but they seem to be good all around speakers, without getting into super high audio quality price points.

How much do you want to spend? For $100, this one has multiple analog 3.5 inputs, so you can run a cable right from the echo dot and a cable right from the PC. Both will work simultaneously.

Unless you are looking for a specific setup/sound quality; get a good 2.1 speaker setup (two speakers and a sub woofer).

Now, I used to have 5.1 surround setup; but they are hard to find for PCs now a days and seem to cost a lot.

These Logitechs are what I use and they sound pretty great. Obviously they'd save you some coin to be spent elsewhere.
The LP60 comes with a built in preamp, which is a great feature, but do you have a receiver, or power amp? If not, make sure you get active aka powered speakers. It can't power passive speakers on its own. They're powered, under budget, and it looks like they accept multiple input sources, meaning you'd be able to use an aux cord (or BT if you pay extra) to use them for your phone or computer as well. Just don't expect them to be shaking the walls down--they're 9 inches high and 20 Watts.

In your case, I would get the splitter as /user/ruttabejga noted, and use that instead.
Hooked it up all together and worked like a charm. Just had to changed the audio settings to Multi-AV Out.
Tip: If you don't see picture the first time after switching video cables, hold your power button on for about 5 seconds until you hear a beep, this will reset your video settings.

I had these Logitech Speakers while I stayed in an apartment. If I played it at max volume, pretty much everyone in the complex would have heard them. Definitely would recommend.
Assuming this table has a built in pre-amp and has rca output (Red and White) I would suggest some mid range computer speakers. This way you don't need a receiver.

Might be a little pricey for you, but I'm not an audiophile and these work just fine for me.
I can tell you that it's going to require opening up the speakers and too much work. I would recommend Logitech speakers. I've used them before and they are great.

I am building a PC, and would like budget speakers that sound better than my monitor's built-ins. I have been looking at the Logitech Z323. However, I would like something that is similar in quality to these (or better, who knows), but for a bit less cost. I would say $40-70 CAD (32-56 USD) would be a preferable price range. I'm using this system just because it's cheap. I'm planning to upgrade to a pair of PreSonus Eris E5's and possibly a Logitech Z323 sub. I'm not too concerned about the subwoofer; as long as it can make deeper bass than the monitors, but won't distort on max volume.
Oh, and this is a setup that will cost around 340 USD in total.
The Logitech Z323's are pretty affordable and are very popular. I used to use them before I upgraded to bookshelf speakers. They have a small footprint and are easy to set up. Also you can find the used VERY cheap.
