We got my uncle to read this book. It made him comfortable enough to try cannabis during his chemotherapy. Full of science and research studies, if you’re into that. Also follows the “reefer mania” and how cannabis got the hard reputation it has under the law and why that’s changing.
Really suggest it. It’s a good book for anyone to read, really.
Understandably, and there is a ton of misinformation on both sides of the argument, so its really tough to figure out what is true and what isn't. When in doubt, wikipedia is honestly one of the most accurate sources in the world, you just can't cite it in scholarly papers (but you can see where wikipedia gets its info, and cite that)
The wikipedia page actually says 9%, I got 17 from Kevin Hill's book, and if I had the book with me right now I'd link to the source he cites.
There is no such thing as medical marijuana yet. There is CBD oil for some rare seizure conditions, but other medications have greater efficacy for most epileptics. "Medical marijuana" is more of a religious practice than it is evidence based medicine.
