Realtor here. That raised the alarm for me. No realtor would ever do this. Let me clarify: there are probably some crappy agents who might and if one ever does it's no one you want to be working with. But given the potential punishments we face for doing this no agent with half a functioning brain would.
What kind of lockbox was it? Something like this? As you can see any old combo key lockbox is readily available. Actual realtors almost all use what's called a Supra box.

I am no where near long term but I'd consider a lock box. Get one you can set the combination on, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002YP1UI/, this way if there is a problem he can get the code from you to unlock and on the next visit you can change the code.

Next time you video conference, blindfold yourself, set the digits to a random number, show her on camera what the number is, store the key in it, and spin the dials. Then, you wait until she tells you the number... if ever..
Depends on the lock box. This one cares about the order, as does this one and this one. Even those aren't that secure for other reasons though. They're not that hard to break. Just think of the lock as a last line of defense and don't put the box where it will be seen.

I have this one and it's been awesome. It feels very heavy duty, but the combo is easy to arrange and change if you want. The inside compartment is big enough for a lanyard with two keys on it.
I got one of these after the first time. So nice.
