I was so scared to put it on the first time. Like turned on at the hotness of being locked into such a severe device, and wanting to make it go smoothly... I got a lidocaine cream and lube. Washed the tube insert quite thoroughly and lubed it well. Rubbed some of the numbing cream around the tip near the entrance to the urethra. Got the ring on, waited for the lidocaine to become effective and eased it in.
Some folks here advised that the numbing is a bad idea because if you nick something it’s better to get the pain feedback and know to stop, rather than the opposite - where you’re doing something (possibly wrong) and missing the cue from your pain receptors.
Anyhow first time in, I was in for about an hour. I felt like it was hard to pee, when I thought I needed to go. So I took it off.
I’m still turned on by how severe this device is and have been working up my tolerance or it.
