Haven't had an opportunity to play around with it or see how long it takes to fully charge from empty with just the sun.
I bought a 50000 mAh (185wh) battery pack on Amazon. Ppl will say that it's not actually 50000 mAh blah blah blah, but I'm able to charge my laptop 3 times with it. Then I just bring it to work and charge it the next day.

I use multiple power banks so there's always something available. The MaxOak was purchased in 2016 so there may be a newer model available. It has been really good for a laptop though. The 26800 might work for your purposes. The small Ankers charge quickly and pack a surprisingly good punch.

Weight is 2.77lbs. It has 12v and 20v barrel connector outputs, as well as USB 1.2A and 2.5A outputs. I have to upconvert the 5v output of the solar panel to 12v in order to properly charge the battery. The only drawback to this setup, really, is that nothing is Anderson Powerpole - it's pretty much all barrel type power connectors or USB...so it took a deep dive into specs to get everything to play together.
Separately, I have a second-line of AA NiMH eneloop pro batteries that can run the radio and tuner in a pinch, if necessary...and Goal Zero Nomad chargers and a smaller solar panel for them, as well.
It is not an ultra-light, stripped-down, bare-bones setup...but with antenna, radio, accessories, solar, batteries, an alcohol stove, first aid kit, GPS, and cordage and a camera with mini-tripod, it weighs 25lbs - everything fits in a Portable Zero Avalanche backpack and a couple external MOLLE pouches. I also have a tarp, that can be used as shelter in there, as well. It is meant as a SOTA go-kit...and Field Day is my test run.
Both of the products that you mentioned look over-priced and over-specified.
If you limit yourself to 5V USB I recommend a 75 watt-hour battery ($37) for its dual inputs; it charges twice as fast as a normal battery. That should be sufficient to charge two cell phones, a small lamp ($4) and a fan ($17). You can charge the battery from a wall outlet, with a cigarette lighter USB adapter ($10), or with a small solar panel ($100).
You might prefer a Luci light ($15) to the lamp mentioned above; it charges itself from the sun and won't consume any of your battery capacity.
If you need 12 volts, I recommend a 185 watt-hour battery ($130), which will also charge a laptop computer. It recharges from a wall outlet, or you can use a 150 watt inverter ($24) from your cigarette lighter.

Could you tell me which power solution has more juice? The one you listed or this? This has 50,000 miliamps which I believe is 50 amps?

I didn't do my research so I have a 50,000mAh, 185wh battery which I can't take on planes. So I can't speak for the smaller batteries, which are presumably lighter, but with the one that I have the size is not an issue, for me at least, but the weight is significant. Measuring right now, the height is 1in., the length is just under 8in. and the width is just over 5in.
I don't really know what the size is comparable to, maybe like having 2 3DS XLs (volume-wise), or a small book.

I never had the chance to try modern Wacom pens extensively, but they probably make very best active digitizers, in terms of pressure points, stylus orientation and so on.
However, I'd say that the benefits are only noticeable when doing art, while for note taking it's largely irrelevant (I used to have a ThinkPad X61T with a very old Wacom digitizer technology, and for notes it still worked fine lol).
The Surface pens do need batteries to function though, while the Wacom pens don't.
As for laptop powerbanks, there aren't many of them I think. This one from Maxoak seems to be the only universal one that's well-received. Razer and Dell have also released powerbanks for their own devices, but they don't officially guarantee compatibility with other laptops.
Most commercial powerbanks use standard 5V/2.4A DC, which is way too low to charge any laptop.
You should probably be looking at something that dispenses 20V, however battery packs that outputs higher voltage tends to be bulkier and more expensive.
I have a friend who uses this to charge his XPS 15 however be aware that the powerbank outputs at 3A which makes it an overall 60W (compared to the 6.67A and 130W of the charger) meaning it will be charging quite slowly or not al all if the laptop is actively being used.

I found that converting power from DC (the larger battery / solar) to AC (outlet) and then back to DC (the laptop adapter) is a huge waste, and I wonder if there's a better way to power a 20v laptop.
I use a 20v DC portable external laptop battery to run my laptop "off the grid" (just one x185Wh, for now), but that's only because I charge it "ON the grid" from an AC outlet.

as far as power banks go I'd reccomend:
I use this all the time for powering my chromebook, phone, tablet etc. Works great for traveling / camping etc. Can power devices while its being powered so you can power it in the car while it charges your devices.
It depends on the power output of the power bank. I used to have the Nvidia Shield tablet and the battery would still drain even while it was plugged into the wall, because it used USB 2. USB 3 and C can support up to 100 watts and have a much higher amp rate, and yes, capable power banks exist.
Any type of sizable portable power is going to have some weight.

You might have to do some math to make sure your CPAP is under 135watts for that one above.
You'll either need a bulky one that has an actual AC power socket output that you can plug your AC adapter into, like this one, or one that has the specific DC output and plug your laptop needs. It looks like the T420/30/40 line has a funky DC input port, so I doubt you'll find one specifically for it, but it might be possible to find a DC to DC adapter which would allow you to use something like this which outputs DC to a standard DC port. The AC power socket bank would be your safest bet.
You're getting some units confused.
Watts and Amps are measured at a particular point in time. P (Watts) = I (Amps) V (Volts)
Your power bank will have a mAh rating (probably 50,000 in this case), which is milliamp hours. So, if you drew 1 Amp from the power bank, it would last 50 hours.
Capacity, (like in the X you just bought) is in terms of energy (Watt-hours). That's what the 90kWh means: it holds 90,000 Watt-hours of energy. If you pull 14 W (the 5 V 2.8 A in this example) it would theoretically be able to run for 6428 hours (267 days; 90,000 Wh /14 W).
If your power bank is a typical single cell Li-Ion setup, it has roughly 185 Wh of energy (3.7V * 50 Ah), so would be able to run ~13 hours.

In order to calculate how much energy the power bank actually holds, you'd need to know what voltage it is rated at. I personally think it is misleading that they advertise these power packs in terms of mAh, instead of Wh, since you need more information to actually determine how much energy is held in the pack. One 3.7V 10,000 mAh pack has half the energy of a 7.4V 10,000 mAh pack, for example.
I think that I found a solution.
It has 5v at 2.1a and 12v at 2.5a outputs. And 50k mAh. I think this would work. But then again, I could be terribly wrong.
All three of those items I posted accomplish that and appear to be somewhat lightweight. They also specifically state that your laptop is compatible.
MAXOAK 50,000mah Battery Pack on Amazon is over double the capacity and comes with a ton of power adapter tips. I'd wager at least one of those is compatible with your laptop though they do not specifically state your laptop model.
If it were me personally and it's a business trip? I'd be buying two of the Dell adapters and expensing them.
I recently picked up a LiPo 50AH battery from Amazon to replace my deep cycle. So far I'm very happy with it, it runs my scope, computer and accessories for 2 nights easily.
I had to do some soldering to get the right plugs everywhere, but that wasn't much work.

Find a magsafe 2 cable that works with a universal connector like USB or DC and then you can buy a battery pack with that port like this. I am not sure if it'll work but the cable is cheap.
there's not such a thing as long lasting battery on a power laptop, might be bulky or to big, for just 1-2 hours of battery life, what you could do is having a spare battery pack like this.
Could recommend you Sager Laptops, if you don't mind being bulky at all.

You might get a little over 2 just derpin' on the web or just barely be able to finish a 2 hour movie on it in eco mode. It's a super thin gaming laptop, it has a tiny battery.

Other options exist. Get something with thunderbolt 3 and an external GPU. Get this and a $200 chromebook for daywork on the go. Get a beefier gaming laptop with a bigger battery.
I use a gs73vr and a android tablet with usb keyboard for random meetings and coffeeshop work. The laptop goes with when I fly and I see it more as a movable workstation not a daily driver.

For a 22v(ish) lipo stepped down to 12V (for use with a laptop car charger), you would at minimum just have to buy a pack of automotive crimp connectors and a pre-soldered XT60 connnector, then just crimp on the 2+2 input+output wires on the buck converter. A low voltage buzzer would be good too.
(The reason it would probably be easiest to run 22V->12V->19V instead of just 22V->19V would just be for added protection from chinesium buck converters, swappable batteries, and not having to muck with charger-sensing circuitry with makes like Lenovo)
Although one of those laptop power banks or AC power banks would do the job just fine with a compatible lappy as well.

Wow this is really cool! Sucks that it's $300 :( But does seem worth it to extend the range by 2-3x the amount. The other day I went to a park and set up my hammock, and almost ran out of juice on way back. This setup could enable me to go up to 5 miles away, do work, and then come back! I think I'm starting to justify it as worth it haha.

As long as you can do the correct voltage you'll be okay, however if you're not careful you could trip the OC detection as our laptops can draw more than those will provide. I'd keep it plugged in trickle charging the laptop to 100% battery until it dies and then use the internal battery.

The battery is as big as the inside of the system will allow. What you could do is use something like the HORI stand or a tablet holder and slap a HUGE batterybank on to it.
