these guys got me through recovery and prevented a lot of rolls on the craggy field i play pickup on.

The thumb goes through where the heel goes, and the fingers of both hands can move freely without fabric in between.
One caveat: while I love showing these to people (they look nice on the hands and are very comfortable) I have yet to actually use them - I just don't play outside enough. But they are way more comfortable than fingerless gloves, and definitely warmer than nothing.
I recommend the Large at least. I have smallish hands and got the Medium, but keep trying to stretch them out. And if you have big hands I'd consider Extra Large.
