I haven't seen anything exactly like the ipad case, there isn't the magnetic attachment point that the ipad has, so I don't think there will be a cover only like that. The "full case" part adds minimal bulk, and I like it so far (especially for the price).

You'll be happy to note that I've looked into this issue EXTREMELY thoroughly and I came up with a solution that worked for me.

Basically, the problem is that the Nexus 7 digitizer has poor sensitivity/quality control/consistency and poor software. What I did to hit notes 100% of the time with no errors (hold notes that drop, notes that don't tap, tap lag, etc), is to use the bootloaded touch screen fix (the instructions which are more or less in the second link above) AND also to be physically touching the case. The software fix helps slightly, but I noticed that there's still a chance to miss certain notes.

What gave me 100% was physically touching the case. I have a strip of copper tape running from the back of the device into the edges (tucked into the removable plastic backing of the case). My device is in a case with a cover, so only the side of the device is accessible, so I place my 2 thumbs here and tap with my fingers.

For reference, it sorta looks stupid, but it works. I've been able to FC soldier game on hard, and every EX song so far (except for snow halation).

Edit: Now they're a penny. Can't automatically cancel, but I sent an email and ordered them again for a penny each. Total came to like $7.99.

Edit 2: Cancelled my first order as of 2pm EDT. I also put in another order for another case at $3, so I paid $10 for 4 cases. Great deal! (Cases are back up to 99cents by the way)

i picked up this one. love the tri-fold stand feature and thin design. they say it's available august 10th, but i put in the order today and it now says "shipping soon". so they'll probably ship earlier than stated.

I prefer naked devices, as well. However, I did want to be able to prop up my 2013 N7 for watching movies and such. So, I bought the Moko Ultra-slim on Amazon. It's worked pretty well, doesn't add too much to the device besides a cover/stand.

I did recently pull the screen protector off. First time I ever had an Armorsuit protector get a scratch that didn't go away. I still need to send it in for the warranty replacement, though I'm considering just going without, since the cover should protect the screen from most damage from being carried in my bag (the scratch happened in the period between after I got the screen protector and before I got the case).

That Nillkin looks pretty bad in my opinion. Could just be the pictures though.

I like the looks of the second one but in the first picture, it doesn't seem to provide any corner protection - I'd be weary of that. Again, could just be the picture. Perhaps someone who owns either one of these cases could chime in.

I just received this MoKo case yesterday. I like it pretty well. It gives just enough coverage without covering the bezel.

I personally use this one. It felt a tiny bit bulky when I first got it, but now that I'm used to it, it feels fine and I'm quite fine of it.

Well, you're in luck! They are. Its only a dollar but its $5 shipping. It will also ship on 8/23. So it's really a preorder for now but still.

When i was looking, nothing really stood out to me either, so i went for function over style. These ones from moko come in a ton of colors and work the same way as the ipad tri-fold cases, for a fraction of the price. It was the best i could find for the price, and i spent a bit of time looking. Best of luck to ya!

Ouch! More than double the height. Don't do that to your Nexus, try this one. I have the same case for my N10 and it is fantastic.

Only differences I'm seeing between them are how the kickstand works and how much of the bezel is actually covered. But considering it's $4.99 for one or $7.99 for all three, I figured I can try them out and then either sell them or hang on to them in case one breaks.

I don't have either of these cases, but I've been looking into one of them trying to decide which one I like more. I'm probably going to get the first one, along with this one which someone already posted, but it has the faux leather. I'll decide which one I like better from there.

This one! It's wonderful! I've been using it for about 6 months and it hasn't shown any signs of wear and tear. It also has the smart wake/sleep function for when you open and close the case. And It's super cheap! :)
