Music yes. But movie scores and other such songs without words. Words are too distracting. I type it on gmail's drive, that way I don't have to worry about saving it and am less likely to lose something. No totem, though I do need something to fiddle with when I think, though often it's just my necklace or bracelet if I'm wearing one. I plan to an extent, but sometimes characters have their own minds and things don't go exactly to plan. I like to keep notebooks with me when I'm in that zone since I will often think of lines or plots while driving or at work. Sadly, I don't have anything writing related that is ten bucks or under. Closest I have is this notebook.
Today I'm trying to get a chunk out of my 10,000 word creative writing assignment done.
This would certainly be amazingly helpful, since my last one broke and I don't get paid for another few weeks.
This notebook is so beautiful and awesome.
