So, along with the struts and springs from my above comment, I also used the below parts from various places, mostly Amazon:

For the Front Struts:

Monroe 904983 Strut-Mate Mounting Kit -
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0012WW580 (Front upper Strut Mounts x2, includes bearing for spring seat)

Monroe 908933 Strut-Mate Coil Spring Seat -
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A7MT51G/ (Front upper metal spring seats x2)

OEM Mazda Rubber Sheet -
https://www.jimellismazdaparts.com/products/Mazda/2002/Protege-5/SHEET--RUBBER/1820984/B25D34012.html (Upper rubber sheet, rubber insulator for spring seat x2) I went with this from my local dealer here in Phoenix since they were somehow cheaper than any aftermarket parts I found.

KYB SM5599 -
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H3WNWW6/ Lower front Spring insulator. I bought one of these and one of the Monroe 906942 because of stock availability/price at the time, feel free to pick either: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B004K7X85S

KYB SB101 -
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CO9QBI (Front strut boot x2)

I also bought 2 of the Moog K80258 Front Stabilizer Bar linkages since my stock linkages were totally seized (like removal with a blowtorch seized):
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000QQWAYC/

For the Rear Struts:

KYB SM5456 - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0018JSC3O/ (Rear Left upper Strut/Spring mount, includes built-in rubber insulator)

KYB SM5457 - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0018JQHCW/ (Rear Right upper Strut/Spring mount, includes built-in rubber instulator

KYB SB102 - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000C3ZDY8 (Rear Strut Boot x2)

Mazda B25D-28-0A3 - https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mazda-Protege-Genuine-OEM-Rear-strut-Lower-Rubber-Seat-B25D-28-0A3-/201966148260?hash=item2f061edaa4 (Rear Lower Spring Insulator x2)

On the backs, because again my stock links were seized up, I replaced them for the Duralast Rear Sway Bar linkages - https://www.autozone.com/suspension-system-coil-springs-and-lift-lowering/sway-bar-link/duralast-sway-bar-link/192463_828054_0_4145 For these, there is a slight difference if you have the Mazda Performance Series suspension, your sway bar links will be 7.25" as opposed to 8.5".

If you go with the Sensen Struts, this catalog will help you identify which strut part number goes on which side of the vehicle: http://www.sensen-na.com/2017-18-Sensen-Catalog.pdf
You could also just use Amazon's fitment guide on the product page for each part number if you like.

From what I could tell, the springs are specific for front/back only, not left/right.

Hopefully this is useful, hope you find better luck with it than I did, especially with the sway bar links.
