Sorry...got carried away. I read a lot and couldn't pick just one to recommend. What are some of your favorite books?

I think you and I were on the same page (pun intended!) about not wanting to read this book initially. I'm not sure what got me to want to read it, but I put it on my books wishlist a couple of years ago.. and then pretty much forgot about it =P

Moon Called is a book that definitely turned out better than I'd anticipated. A couple of months ago I was looking for a new series to read. I posted a request for feedback on Facebook and received a number of suggestions. My best friend suggested this one and I've learned to trust her implicitly so I got it. The thing is, it really didn't sound like something that I'd be into. At all. I mean ... werewolves? I like fantasy but werewolves just seems so ... cliche? I dunno.

But I tried it and wow, it blew my mind away how much I loved it. It drew me in immediately. And, in about 6 weeks, I read all 10 books in the series. The thing is, I say "series" but really, you could pick up any book in the series and read it alone. Each one is like an independent adventure.
