Reddit reviews Mop Men: Inside the World of Crime Scene Cleaners

There is a book I read years ago called Mop Men which I found very interesting. A journalist hooked up with and tagged along with a crime scene cleaner for a while and wrote about the experience.

The most interesting part to me was that the writer decided he would be smart and not eat anything the morning of his first call-out. That way, he figured, he wouldn't embarrass himself by vomiting. He found out too late that was the worst idea possible. He spent the morning dry heaving with nothing to expel, and ended up in excruciating pain. He was told next time to eat a big meal and just let it happen, which he did. He showed up, encountered something gross, had to run outside and puke, and then felt much better.

So since op hasn't responded I think I've narrowed it down to two possible books. Mop men and Aftermath:Cleaning Up After the CSI Goes Home
