I read Mouse Tales: A Behind the Ears Look at Disneyland in middle school, and still remember being scandalized by how many people had died on Pirates of the Caribbean.

Personally I like Mouse Tales and More Mouse Tales. The book has stories you wouldn't normally hear from former cast members.

Unfortunately we didn't utilize the fast pass for the Toy Story ride and you know that gets crowded fast. My sisters friend was down there the same time as us, so my mom took the kid around (they did go on the muppet ride/show) and I was able to go on the tower of terror and the Aerosmith ride. We stayed at the pop century resort, which was convenient because of the shuttle. We had the multi park pass, went to MGM, Disney and downtown Disney (we were there for about 4 days). She liked Disney world the best, I wanted to go to Epcot, but we didn't get a chance.

I was upset that the mr toad ride was replaced by that awful Winnie the Pooh ride that there was never a line for. My absolute favorite has always been the haunted mansion. Really loved the new little mermaid ride too. Of course we had to go on pirates of the carribean. Last time I was there was in 96 and I still remember the smell. Had to have a dole whip, because they are amazing. Since it was a late birthday gift for her, we did the princess lunch which was wonderful.

I really am bummed about not being able to go to Universal because I love the roller coasters/adult rides. Maybe when she's older we can drive down there and go to Universal as well.

I can talk about Disney all day too! Haha. I've heard mixed things about working there. My husband jokes that I would be perfect for an actor role as one of the wicked stepsisters or evil queens. Getting paid to be snarky would be great. I don't know if I could be a princess, being cheery all day sounds awful.

Weird side note, while we were staying at the hotel I guess a boy drowned in the pool. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/03/13/missouri-teen-drowns-at-disney-resort-near-orlando/

I love hearing about the morbid/dark side of Disney. Mouse Tales is a great book. http://www.amazon.com/Mouse-Tales-Behind-The-Ears-Look-Disneyland/dp/0964060566
