My Turn: A Life of Total Football
By Johan Cruyff. I have still yet to read it, but I've heard good things about it.
Also, another one is Inverting the Pyramid, but its not by a player/manager though. Brilliant book on tactics, either way. Definitely worth the read.
Personal bias aside, My Story: Steven Gerrard is a very good read as well. Published after he left Liverpool, so you can imagine the weight of the words he writes.
Just got his biography myself for Christmas, looks like they re-issued hard cover version after his passing.
Highly recommend.
If you're genuinely interested in him, check out his autobiography My Turn: A Life of Total Football (just came out Nov 2016 after he died in March 2016). It gives a great overview of his entire career, the only warning I would give would be to maybe skip some of the Ajax parts later in the book unless you're Dutch which I can safely say you're not since you've never heard of him.
I'm not Dutch and some of the times he's talking about Ajax when he is involved with them on the board, it is very complicated and he's talking about a bunch of Dutch people I've never heard of so it can be confusing.
Cruyff is a legend. https://www.amazon.com/My-Turn-Life-Total-Football/dp/1568585713
