Nabisco sells plain chocolate wafers. I've never compared them side by side with an Oreo but I remember thinking they were comparable when I ate them by themselves. Well, Oreo doesn't (they wouldn't be Oreos, after all), but Nabisco does sell the chocolate wafers on their own. They are available in regular grocery stores, I've bought them plenty of times.
