yes, the zip ties block the center of the screen, it really hasn't been an issue. most buttons are just below or just above center.

EDIT: you could get some hooks to hold the phones up without attaching them....kinda like building your own shelves though at that point.

Got these from Lowe's. About $10 for 4'x4'. They also had 4'x8', but I already had a tough time as it is getting the half size home :-). And I bought three of these hook kits from Amazon:

The variety for the quality/price is great, in my opinion. Also picked up a few hooks from Harbor Freight. Quality was ok, but I prefer the National Hardware ones...

I did search generic hook kits like this or this, but I would have to order internationally. That stuff is pretty much unknown here.

I used Stanley ones that someone here recommended. The only thing you have to watch out for is not double up a hook with 2 heavy pans. Outside of that they are great and have a good variety in the pack.
