Beneficial nematodes are supposed to help kill of ticks. You have to make sure you get the correct type of nematodes for the type of pests you are trying to control, but I think personally I am just going to get the [pack that has all types] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N5DR2A1/?coliid=I146SUUYJWUVSR&colid=WYO7LE20CVIY&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it) and wage war on all the pests at once. I haven't tried it yet so I don't know how effective it is, but I figure it is worth a shot.
