I forgot to mention - these placemats are awesome for going out to restaurants. Baby fed babies are messy, so we would always make an effort to ask for a rag to clean up after ourselves.

Also, this is a great article on why to delay solids

My britax carrier was amazing for trading baby with my husband. It quickly adjusts to our different body types and the infant insert put them at just the right height in the carrier. https://youtu.be/TjthPtPpBpw

At around 4 months old you'll just put them in a high chair when eating out. I highly suggest disposable table covers. They stick down and ease the germ concern. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002FKE4UU/ref=mp_s_a_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1522337167&sr=8-2&keywords=disposable+placemats+for+babies

I baby wore while eating, it's only slightly awkward until you're use to it and yes you'll spill on baby sometimes; but it'll be ok. Lol

A nice cart cover can double as a highchair cover. But make sure you buckle the cloth itself in, my son nearly fell when I made the mistake of thinking it was ok to just buckle him into the cloth. My daughter wasn't nearly as wiley and didn't have that scare.

I do suggest a tiny umbrella stroller for the heavier than newborn before walking stage, 4 to 16 months. Baby wearing them at those ages gets a little warm and cumbersome but isn't impossible. I've seen a mom baby wearing her 4 year old. But I personally think that's a little extreme. I have and love this one because you can roll up or fold down the back to help keep little one warm or cooled off.
