Right so that has a captive cable from the hub to the laptop, that part is solved. There are not many 100W chargers on the market. The Wacom 100W also has a captive cable. The upcoming Zendure Superport apparently doesn't come with the right cable, you can use something like the Nekteck USB-IF Certified USB C 3.1 GEN 2 Cable(10Gbps/100W) USB C to USB C Cable between the charger and the hub. The latter is necessary to deliver more than 60W.

Like the others have stated you cables are most likely not to spec.

I use these As they are full USB 3.1 gen2 spec

But if you want more than 1meter they get more expensive and are not full spec. (only usb 3.1 gen1 and 60w support) The limitations especially for power delivery (PD) often come down to wire gauge and cable makes cheaping out and using thinner wire than is needed to handle the power.

I see, so my cable list should look like this:

  • Basic cable, HiSpeed only, 3 amps (60W), no e-mark (passive wires only) (Amazon example)
  • Basic cable, HiSpeed only, 5 amps (100W), with e-mark (Amazon example)
  • SuperSpeed cable, 3 amps (60W), with e-mark, up to 2m
  • SuperSpeed cable, 5 amps (100W), with e-mark, up to 2m
  • SuperSpeed+ cable, 3 amps (60W), with e-mark, up to 1m (Amazon example)
  • SuperSpeed+ cable, 5 amps (100W), with e-mark, up to 1m (Amazon example)

Will a SuperSpeed+ cable work for Thunderbolt 3, or is there an additional requirement (and corresponding e-mark) ?

While I do understand the technical realities, this is complex for consumers...
