"USB-PD" is a USB spec for fast charging, Power Delivery.

The Pixel 2 (XL) support up to 18W charging over USB-PD, 9V/2A, but also support regular USB-C charging at 15W, 5V/3A.

27W USB-PD charging, 9V/3A, is not supported on the Pixel 2/XL.

The 15W Belkin charger is a little expensive for what it is. I'd get this over it, it's also USB-IF certified, and supports 5V/3A charging over USB-C.

Don't get the other one listed, it doesn't have Power Delivery for the Pixel 2.

I think you would want this (at least for the Pixel 2):

Nekteck charger supports PD standard and charges upto 45W depending on the device. Bonus is that it's USB IF certified and reasonably priced.

I was recommended this charger when my last one caused the screen on my first Pixel 2 to short out and not work. Works as intended and even allows for rapid charging as well as an additional USB plugin.

I wanted to charge my Yoga 920 in my car, so I bought this and it charges fine. So third party chargers are a go, at least the one I bought works.

I pulled the WiFi NIC out and replaced it with the Intel Wireless-AC 9260. Works great. Be sure to download the driver first before replacing the card... or just use another computer to download them and transfer it with a USB drive.

To add: I have no idea if swapping wifi cards voids your warranty. If you find out, please let me know.

Edit: same manufacturer has a model with a separate usb-c cable vs built in, didn't know that when I bought mine. I would probably have gotten that one in case the cable ever breaks you can just replace the cable vs the entire charger, also gives you option for longer cable.

To get the fastest charging times you'll need chargers that support USB-C PD (power delivery). I used the factory charger at home and a PD charger in the car.

So I just wanted to reply to you for your information and anyone that searches and comes through here. I ended up buying the Nekteck with PD that's USB-IF certified. It doesn't seem to power back in the car like the charger you have does. Hopefully someone like /u/Nathan-k that has the proper tools can test it out to see if it's actually up to spec.
