Like anything else, you talk to your doctor. If a PCP/GP, they probably won't know much about it, outside of alcohol/substance use and the latest stab at obesity management (Contrave). Dosing for dissociation is novel + really important. I brought this book with me (last chapter) and had no problem getting an Rx:

I've talked to a few psychiatrists who prescribe it (and others who had no idea) so that might be an easier route.
