I'm not sure how to slice it other than eyeing it. I mean, you could learn the size of the cake and measure to the center, but that seems like too much math in cake eating. Maybe try this or this

There are cake cutters/servers, for both round and rectangular cakes, on the market that you can use to get consistent cake portions.
