I have this case and don't have any problems with NFC.
I have this and it's worked very well so far.
It is in good shape, heavy duty i-Blason and a tempered glass screen protector the day I activated it two years ago, just not jazzed about doing my own battery replaccement, I was hoping to get ~$125 for it.
I've been looking on Amazon, and finally decided on a case, the i-Blason Armorbox It looks like a knock-off of the Otterbox, but with a screen protector. I'm excited about it. The only thing is I have to wait till November 25th to ship out.
You could get a regular cheap mount and combine it with an OtterBox or other tough case. Normally I wouldn't go for the tough cases since they add a ton of bulk, but you can never be too careful when on a bike. I've been in many accidents, and in at least one I busted my watch. And a Nexus is a lot more expensinve than a watch (at least the kind I buy, no Rolexes for me).

You could use any mount really, but those are just the most appealing I found on Amazon.
And if you use a tough case you should be able to find one that is waterproof as well.
