I was in the market for exactly what you were looking for. I don't care for hardcore protection, just something to protect against scratches and minor scuffs if I do drop the phone.

I'd recommend this one.

I've been using a TPU thin case for my 6p, in addition to a dbrand skin, to get better scratch protection. I also like the idea of a case-less phone, but it's just so impractical and scary.

TPU cases don't offer much drop protection (although I did accidentally throw my phone at my wooden bed and the case protected it, ymmv). I found this one to be the thinnest, and it has a charging port cover too. (it says white, but it's actually completely clear)

As far as a clear "case", you can try out a Nilkin TPU. It won't have the same protection as a plastic case, but it'll still look decent and save your phone from scratches and dents.
