I think it might be one of these https://www.amazon.com/Nike-Dri-Fit-Head-Tie/dp/B008C2ATPY they sell them at Hibbett’s Sports if you have one near you, or prob a Nike outlet or other sport stores. They’re just long pieces of dri-fit material that are cut an angle on the ends, you wrap them around your head then tie it. I have one and wear it when I hoop, would recommend!

I also like the wider Nike tennis ones. I think they look a little dumb, but they absorb a crazy amount of sweat.

started wearing one since my hair's getting long and i like them.

any reason we don't see them more often?

I wear one of these because I have long hair and it keeps it out of the way, but it does a good job keeping sweat out of your eyes and fits under a helmet better than most headbands.
