You would be better off going with something like a Nixeus Revel, that reddragon isn't great.

The white one is on sale for $40 right now.

G100s
revel
deathadder essential the same thing as the chroma but no rgb.
G303
G403 A bit outside your budget but its worth it.
G102 same thing as
G203
whatever you do, don't buy the $15 back alley abortion of a mouse.

The Nixeus Revel, a pretty great gaming mouse.

the redragon mouse has really rough texture and an OFFICE sensor.

Hand size?

that's great to hear. i'll wait then. well I was looking on amazon and since it was no longer in stock, the only ones available that were (new) from other sellers were $65-99.

i saw some on ebay for $55ish dollars but i'd rather buy it directly at a better price.(this is specifically the glossy edition which I think the white looks so cool!)

thanks for the response! i'm really looking forward to trying out the mouse as it looks perfect for me in terms of specs and aesthetics

Hi /r/MouseReview !

I need your suggestion on new mouse for me, here are the details :

  • Games : Mostly for work/productivity, Civilization series (V and VI), Divinity Original Sin (EE and 2), Dota 2, Skyrim.
  • Preferred hand : Right-handed, Ambidextrous if possible
  • Budget : £30 or less (Manchester, UK), can stretch for a bit if there's no better option below 30.
  • Hand Size : around 18-19 centimetres
  • Grip type : Fingertip Grip
  • Weight Preference : at least weighs around Kinzu V2 Pro, or heavier
  • DPI Preference : High (I use 3200DPI on Kinzu V2 Pro)
  • Cable Type : Braided if possible, Cable length don't care
  • LED Lighting : Any, I don't care about it
  • Mouse Buttons : 4 (Right & Left click, Mid mouse button/wheel, DPI settings) to 6 (2 extra for browsing navigation), doesn't have to be programmable buttons.
  • Other details : below

My first gaming mouse was a Steelseries Kinzu V2 Pro. I have no complaints with this mouse, but the wheel scroll is broken and it really hampers my productivity. I would like a mouse that has extra buttons for website navigation. Another Steelseries brand would be preferable since I will be using this mouse with my MSI GL62-6QF Laptop (it has a Steelseries keyboard built in)

Any suggestions are welcome! Thank you! :)

I did some independent searching of similar threads. I found the Steelseries Rival 100. MSRP $40, but I can get it for $25 on amazon in an ugly color(I don't mind it though). Have you heard anything about the RIval? I'm looking into the revel now.

Is that the "Revel" you are talking about? It seems hard to find, only one mouse came up on Amazon... just making sure this is it before I look it up for a while.

I think I'm going to try avoid the big name brands this time (Razer, Logitech and Steelseries) although I think I could make do with the G403.

I'm going to experiment a bit with a different shape and I like the looks of these mice as they come with the new 3360 switch, which would you recommend from them or would you know that are similar?

u/Joe10112 · 1 pointr/MouseReview

Thanks for the detailed response. I read a few more reviews, and they all praised the mouse for roughly the same reasons you mentioned (simplicity but gets the job done). Since I don't buy this kind of stuff often, I usually trust mice with more reviews on Amazon and stuff like that (which is why I was highly considering Deathadder; I like to keep it "safe", so to speak), but I'll definitely highly consider this one.

Since I'm buying from Amazon, if I were to choose the Nixeus Revel, it would be this one?: https://www.amazon.com/Nixeus-REVEL-Gaming-Mouse-Light-weight/dp/B01HHH74K2

Return it, jeez I couldn't image ever paying ESEA with that...

It has a horrible sensor, angle snapping, trash LOD and mouse excel.

Return that and get one of these.
