For can openers, I wonder if any one has tried the Super Kim. My Swingaway is slowly losing it's ease of use.

Any issues with rust? Some of the reviews mention rust. It sounds like you need to keep it dry.

I use a relatively small Nogent can opener. There is a cutting blade instead of the more common cutting wheel. This leaves the lid edge more jagged. Perhaps a problem if used by a child. I store it on a magnet fixed to the side of cabinet.

I got one of these can openers. It leaves a smooth finish so you don't cut yourself. Being left handed I found it easier to use then conventional ones
This Nogent is by far the best can opener I've ever owned. It's so easy to use even with massive cans or tiny ones like tomato paste.
